Here are 10 simple habits to help you become more productive every day.
1. Wake up early
This is one of the most important things to me. To get up early in the morning and have plenty of time to myself, to eat a good breakfast and plan the rest of the day.
2. Eat well to live well
Look after your health, eat regular nutritious meals. Feed the brain but don’t feed it junk food and sugary snacks that will slow it down.
3. Get everything done when it needs to be done
Get into the habit of getting everything done when it needs to be done and don’t leave things for later. It will be in the back of your mind and you don’t want that.
4. Make time for a distraction
Whilst trying to become more productive, you also want to add some balance, to let go and have some fun. Take breaks when you feel you need it.
5. Sleep early
As well waking up early, it’s important to get enough hours of sleep. Get 8-9 hours of sleep everyday. This will help you re-energise for the next productive day.
6. Always plan ahead
Keep a plan of everything you need to do well ahead of when it needs to be done. If you don’t keep a diary of your plans, you should get start now. Organise your daily tasks and get into this routine.
7. Plenty of rest
Give yourself plenty of time to rest when you need it.
8. Try mediation or yoga/exercise
This is a great way to relax the mind and body so that you can prepare yourself for those busy days. I recently wrote a post on candle gazing try this for extra benefits.
9. Don’t get caught up doing unnecessary things
It’s just a waste of time.
10. Stay motivated
The most important thing is to stay motivated. Train your mind to keep going. Get into this mindset and don’t lose it. If you don’t make the effort, you will fall back into an unproductive loop and achieve nothing at the end of each day and it could last years. It’s your choice!
